Both of my mobile plan includes roaming and data in other countries. My two numbers, one Canadian and one American, are always active in my s23 Ultra. Recently, I have started to see this annoying roaming message every couple of hours pop up on my device. The last time this was an issue, was back just after the s23 Ultra was released and it was fixed in the March 2023 update, I believe. Can we have a toggle to disable this, please? Otherwise, fix it again and for good this time.

Changing the roaming does NOT stop the annoying message.

Looks like a carrier message to me saying that you are roaming which would be a connection or network setting

There is no setting in connections or network settings to turn off that message or just the frequency of it.

Hello, I do understand your frustrations with your device roaming and this pop up is there to alert you that you are roaming so that you can decide what to do considering different plans/carriers have different charges.

If you leave your carrier's coverage area, you may still be able to access mobile data by enabling Data roaming. Most carriers work together to allow you to connect to other networks, even outside the United States.

Before you turn on Data roaming, please be aware that there may be additional charges from your carrier, especially outside the country. Contact your carrier for details before enabling Data roaming.

When you're ready to turn it on, navigate to Settings, and then tap Connections. Tap Mobile networks, and then tap the switch next to Data Roaming Access to enable or disable the feature.

Note: The steps for activating this option may differ depending on what carrier you have.

I get that it is a reminder. It's a complete annoyance when it sometimes pops up every 20 minutes though for the better part of a day. If it popped up once a day or even less. Like it used to. That would be completely fine. Your response is not a solution!

If Samsung doesn't change the policy with regard to this roaming notice, we, my family, are switching to another phone manufacturer. From Reading the forums, it appears many others feel like us. This notice will freeze any other activity on one's phone.... It's dangerous.  I may try something the FCC, as this notice really does put users at risk. Maybe a class action is needed.

No - our plans have international data. I NEED to be roaming, I do not want to be reminded every 4 minutes.

Samsung - I don't think you're reading and understanding the issue at all. We all WANT roaming on. It's on purpose. What we don't want are these repetitive warning messages. How do we stop them? They're persistent, annoying and disruptive.

Why hasn't this been fixed? I switched to the Samsung fold after 10 years of pixels and I have never encountered anything so degrading and disruptive. The fact that samsung has not addressed issue after years is wild to me.
