Disable speaking notifications

I pretty much have most things figured out on this phone, but there is one more annoying thing.  Whenever I receive a text message, it plays my notification sound (which is fine), but it also says 'Messages'.  I don't want or need that to happen. How do I stop it from speaking the word 'Messages'?

That sounds like an option in Accessibility that you need to find and turn off.

There is nothing in accessibility that is turned on, so that is not it.

I assume you are using Samsung earbuds, if so go to Wearable App then Earbud Setting then Spoken notifications. You can turn it off there.
