I use Samsung Internet Browser as my primary web browser. I have the News Feed enabled and read it daily. However, it has not updated for the past 5 days. I have tried to refresh, restart my phone, clear the cache, double check my settings, enable/reenable it, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It's stuck on the same old news and have not gotten any update whatsoever. I haven't been able to find anyone else with this issue. Please advise, thank you

Refresh the feed manually

Open Samsung Internet → scroll to the news feed → pull down to refresh.

Clear app cache & data

Go to Settings → Apps → Samsung Internet → Storage

Tap Clear cache.

If that doesn’t help, try Clear data (this resets homepage/news feed preferences, so you may need to re-set them).

Check news feed provider settings

Open Samsung Internet → tap ☰ (menu) → Settings → Homepage → Select Content Providers (or News Feed provider).

Make sure a provider (like Samsung News, MSN, or Google Discover) is enabled.

If it’s already selected, try switching to another provider, then back again.

I've tried all of these and they have not worked, unfortunately. Also the content provider for news on the Homepage tab you mentioned does not exist. I believe the default news source has always been taboola? Although I cannot find any way to change that even if I wanted to.

I tried checking my permissions and even double checked if it was being blocked somehow but nothing updated after I tried experimenting with changing settings.

Try scrolling up not down

What do you mean...I am scrolling up. I tried scrolling up, down, left, right, lol. I scroll up and it goes to the top of my new tab page as usual and refreshes as usual. Sometimes it acts like its gonna refresh and load new content but it just loads the same 5 days old content.

Latest update on things I've tried is changing my DNS but no dice there either.

Sorry to hear your Samsung Internet news feed has been stuck for the past five days, despite all the troubleshooting you've already done. You're definitely not imagining things—some users report similar persistent issues.

Try using the Samsung News app and set for notifications if you wish. In settings you can choose your interests.

You can also go to the Discovery Google News feed by swiping right and see if that updates.

These two choices is what I use. Everyone has their own preferences.

@Jules411 - Curious if you've tried the settings -> Homepage -(Quick access)-(settings)-(News feed) to see if it's updating on your device.

Everything I look at makes me believe the problem is in the quickaccess.internet... web page. The problem happens on every new or old device I've tried. The Taboola news is being updated on the news.internet... page.

If you don't see the problem on your device, I wonder what's different?

Same exact problem on S22. This started after the last update: Browser 28.0.5.9 and Android S901USQS8FYG7. I've tried everything relevant to my config.

edit: And my newsfeed is exactly like  cicadadays screen shot.

Thank you so much for replying...I'm so happy I'm not alone! Hopefully we can find a solution soon. It appears that it was something to do with that update then.

Some other info: My wife's identical S22 has the same problem. I got out my Galaxy Tab that I hadn't used in a while and the browser was at 27.0.0.79 --- same problem. Updated and still the same problem. It doesn't matter whether I'm using Wifi or 5g so I don't see how the DNS can be at fault. I suspect it's in the quickaccess.internet.apps.samsung.com someplace.
