Can't Add Any Card to Samsung Pay/Wallet - "Card Not Supported" Error After 100+ Tries from 18 days

 I cannot add any debit or credit card to Samsung Wallet.After 100+ attempts from 18 days, it always says "Card not supported."

I've already:

· Cleared cache & data for Samsung Wallet

· Signed out and back in

· Tried multiple different cards

Nothing works. My device is a Galaxy S23 Ultra on the latest software. Please help.

It is highly likely that this is due to a lack of support for/partnership with your specific bank and/or card issuer.

Even though you've tried different cards, it's still possible that the specific banks or types of cards you've attempted are not currently supported by Samsung Wallet.

Thank you for the suggestion.

 

However, I can confirm that all of the cards I've tried are from major, supported banks and are currently active in Google Pay and Apple Pay without any issues.

 

The fact that the same cards work on other platforms but are failing with a "not supported" error specifically in Samsung Wallet indicates that the problem is likely on Samsung's end, not with my bank or the cards themselves.

 

Any further troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

In many instances you can add the card to the various wallets from your banking app.  It's usually in the account services section.  You can see what happens if you try to add it from the bank side.

I'm recently come to austria here I registered new account in bank . Got new card and tried so many time only on Samsung Wallet still can't add.

Are you in Austria and trying to add cards from Austrian banks?  It may well be that you need you need to download an EU version of the app that will accept Austrian bank cards.  It could also be that since the accounts are new, there is a security lock on the cards.  If your cards work in Google Wallet, I suggest you use that for the time being.

 

Also, you might have better luck reaching out to a support forum in the EU https://www.samsung.com/visitcountry/

But  it's also can't work in my home country with my home country cards.

What is your home country?  What country is your phone's region.  The focus of this forum is U.S. products and services, so you are best off finding a support location/members group for either your current region or your home region.  It may even be that Samsung Wallet is not yet support in either your home country or the country your phone is region locked to.  Which is why your cards will work in Google Wallet and Apple Pay.  Once again, I am suggesting to you that  you use Google Wallet instead of Samsung Pay if the cards work in Google Wallet.  All wallets work the same way, so it really doesn't matter which one you use - use the one that works.

Home country cards and here both are not working.

What is your home country? What country is your phone locked to? Samsung Wallet may not work in your home country. And if it does not work in the country of the phone, then you will not be able to add any cards to it - from any country. I suggested to you before to use Google Wallet, since it works worldwide, and you already stated your cards work in it. There is nothing special about Samsung Wallet that Google Wallet can't do.
