Different app notification sounds

How do you have a didifferent sounds for apps in notification. My phone doesn't seem to allow it. When I go into settings under Apps or Notification or into the app itself there is nothing to click on to pick a different sound. I've followed what every body says to do including videos and it never offers the different sounds. Software is up to date. No UI7 yet.

See if you have this option under settings, sound & vibration and see if you have that "separate app sound" option

Settings/notifications/advanced settings. Make sure manage notification settings for all apps is turned on. Then return to your app notification settings, tap notification categoreies and choose the categories for which you want to receive notifications snd chosse the sound for each category fir each app you want a different sound for.
