My phone constantly drops network connection since the update. I'll have a normal connection for 2-3 minutes, then the signal strength goes to 1 bar, then I see an Emergency Calls Only or Network Unavailable or No SIM present message. I'm only able to use the phone connected to WiFi at home.
I thought it was a carrier issue, so I changed providers from Cricket to Mint Mobile, but the problem persisted. I took the phone to a repair facility to see if there was any hardware issue causing my problem, but there wasn't one found. The only other potential culprit is the new software. I've seen quite a few others with the same issue using different carriers. I spent over $1,000 on what is essentially a landline now. I'm not happy one bit.

I am having the same issue on a Samsung S22 Ultra. I just lose connection on the sim, mobile data is almost useless or doesn't work at all. My wife who uses the same provider on an iPhone is fine. Has anyone had a resolution yet?

UPDATE: Network settings reset along with a reset of some sort with my provider solved this issue. Issue was happening with my S23 but also my wife's Pixel device. Rep noted that they had helped a few customers out with this issue and it seems to be related to an android update.

Original: S23 user here. Having this issue too. Just started happening. Noticed because text messages were failing. Have since noticed wild change in signal strength indicators (bars) and also poor numbers coming out of settings for signal strength (108-112 dBm). Restarts, power downs, airplane mode activation/deactivation seem to flare it into action and it seems random as to when things are failing, but they certainly are doing that. I'm hoping Samsung is on this and finds this issue and patches it...

I am also facing this problem. No network and drops all the time after showing full bars. No service and dropped calls in places that were perfectly fine before. Living off wifi calling. Tried e simm, full factory reset, and different carrier. No change. S24 fe perfect condition. I think next phone will not be Samsung as they appear not to care after spending so much money on their dumb phones.

I'm having the same exact issue since the last update. It's extremely frustrating that Samsung is not taking responsibility for this extremely disruptive glitch! I keep getting BS about it being about the crack in my case that happened 3 years ago. But clearly other people wre having this problem within the same timeframe too. This issue started over the summer 2025 and has only gotten worse. My phone is unusable now.

Same problem with my A53 5G! So annoying! Every couple of minutes. I don't want to do a phone reset & lose everything. I have tried several troubleshooting suggestions, but it keeps doing it and that messes with other things. I didn't think that perhaps the update is what caused this. It's the only device in the house that has issues! Will there be another update to correct this soon?! I don't want to get a different phone just because of the WIFI issue! I did just check for software update, so we'll see if that helps. Has anyone had luck with that update? It says One UI 8 and Android 16 for Galaxy. (It showed last update was 9/25/25)

UPDATE: I may have solved my issue.  I deleted a bunch of apps that may have been causing a lot of background data usage. It's been ok for the last hour or so. Fingers crossed!!!
