Why does my biometrics work for all of my apps BUT not my phone? I have to try over an over then I have to input my code??? I have deleted it and set up a new one so many times? Why?
Are you using a glass screen protector? If so you may need to remove it. Also, when you first wake up, or unlock your phone, the fingerprint reader may need a second or two to "wake up" and be ready for the input. If you hit the reader right away it gets confused and then acts badly! Try waiting a full two seconds after the screen/reader shows up then try. I also went through this at one time. The reason it works so well with apps is because the screen is already "awake" and the reader is already alive and fully ready for input. YMMV
