well it seems I'm also a victim of some "bug" in the system.  S22 Ultra shut off last week and restarted.

Got to turn back on and it was asking me to log in.  Seems the phone did a reset and I lost everything in it.  I'm not really good with this stuff and shame on me for not using one of the cloud based back up services.

What I'm wanting to know is this, is there ANY way for someone at Samsung to get into that phone and recover the info? I mean, there has got to be a way...right?  Mainly photos and other files.  I did have some stuff backed up to Google as far as contacts and a tech at T-mobile was able to restore text messages.

I no have a refurbished phone as of Wednesday as the original one would put me in a lock screen loop (I used a PIN to get into the phone).  I would have to reboot the phone and pray it would let me in.  Constant camera failures, the UI would crash.  It was horrible.   The "new" phone was about 6 updated behind.  So far no issues other then not being able to send photos through a Facebook Messenger app.

Not to be the bearer of bad news but I don't think there's much more to be done.

There is no way for Samsung to get into your phone to recover information. If you did not have your personal data backed up externally, when the device reset, all that stuff is gone. You should be able to restore and recover your apps, settings, contacts and photos from your automatic backup, but your personal stuff is gone An important lesson for making regular backups - you never know when some mishap is going to befall your phone.
