Samsung is the phone manufacturer 

If you have issues with calling, data, voicemail, mms or sms, or signal. Check with your carrier first. Then once they rule out all their troubleshooting then contact samsung. Samsung has nothing to do with what I wrote above 
Also when it comes to updates Samsung sends them to the carriers. The carriers then test them to make sure they work on their network that's why neither know when the phones get it
