Galaxy S22Solution didn't work. On my S22 when I open Settings | Apps | Search apps and click the 3 dots, I don't have a choice for Settings, only Permission manager / Special access / Reset app preferences.
Like the original post, my Samsung Voicemail icon has disappeared so I can't get notifications when VM has been left. Running Android 13 on an unlocked phone.

Galaxy S22Same issue this seems to be a widely reported bug or something. Why can't this be fixed?

Galaxy S22This is how I found it.
Go to Settings> Apps> Voicemail. Down at the bottom of the screen, it shows a shortcut which says Open. This started an installation of the Visual Voicemail app, and placed a shortcut icon on my desktop.

Galaxy S22There is no voicemail app of any kind on my phone. I chatted with Samsung support about it. We looked everywhere. He had me do a reset which didn't work. Then we did a factory reset. Still no voicemail app. I am getting voicemail from my carrier, but no notifications because there is no app. The carrier does not supply a voicemail app either. So I found out that something changed between Galaxy S20 and S22. The S22 uses visual voicemail which is carrier dependant. I might not have it brcause i bought my phone unlocked from Samsung and not the carrier. If you search the play store for voicemail or visual voicemail, there are none from my carrier. But I did find a third party visual voicemail app that works fine. I dont really need visual voicemail but that is the only waybto be notified that you have a message. I liked regular old voicemail just fine. But I may have to change carriers if mine likes to leave their customers out of the loop like this. Thanks for trying to help.
