Unable to update software

Currently stuck on the following and can't update as of 10DEC2024. Tried looking around online and it seems like alot of people are having similar issues with no luck.

One ui: 5.1

Android: v13

Security patch: 01OCT23

Google play is now up to date only because I did it myself. Prior to updating it was also on an early 2023 version. It's now update to the NOV24 version.

Yes s22, and as far as I understand 4 years of updates and support and 5 years of security support and updates. Multiple users with the same phone model have received updates for one ui 6 as well as the newest security updates which happen almost monthly.

Have you been on the same carrier all along, or did you buy it at one carrier, get it paid off, then got it unlocked, then moved to another carrier?  If so the your issue is likely that the new carrier does not recognize your phone when it searches for an update due to the model number not being in their database.  You should be able to update by either using the Smart Switch app on a computer or mac with your phone connected, and using the check for update option, or by using a sim from the original carrier then checking for an update (Sim has to be live, so perhaps a friend or family member still on that carrier, and borrowing their sim?)

Thanks for the advise, yeah got the phone off a friend who had it on tmobile originally, swapped over to at&t so I'll go grab my computer and give that a try
