S22 Ultra Since the October update I am no longer able to send or receive messages with Samsung or Google messages.... I've tried everything that support has recommended and nothing is working unbelievable going on a week and a half and they still can't figure out what they did wrong!!!

Uninstall and reinstall google messages and then chose that app for default when it prompts you to

I have done it multiple times and I'm still not able to send a receive messages I give up

And trying to use Google message it's the same thing and when I check my setting it says it's trying to verify my phone number and I'm going on a week and a half so I can't use that either

Have you changed your phone number since you set up your Google acct ? If not, did you set up 2 factor auth and list a 2ndary phone # and/or email?

Idkw either. I read an article about how the new update is causing issues with earlier androids but there's also suppose to be an update released to fix it. Just dunno when

I had a contact Verizon and they were able to figure out the issues and get me up and running again....
