That's what I had read as well, but at the end of the article it goes on and on about not getting the device wet, so was just looking for some clarity. Thank you.
The device is water resistant up to 5 meters for 30 minutes, but it can still get the warranty voided if water enters the device. Pool water and Salt water will break down the barrier faster than fresh water, and the device has no resistance rating what-so-ever for pool water or salt water. What they mean in the article, is that it is better to not risk it, as, again, water getting in will void the warranty.
