S22 screen keeps freezing and restarting

My phone periodically will freeze and restart, often doing it back to back. Sometimes upon the restart some of my widjets apps or even wallpapers are gone. Very frustrating I even backed up and factory reset the phone and it's still happening. It'll restart when I'm not even touching it, or when I'm in the middle of typing or listening to something. Does anyone have any solutions or ideas? Is anyone having the same issue?

I have left a comment down below of some fixes I have found. Please read if you are having this issue. I have since added my widgets back and it's all good 👍🏻 also please make sure you guys are opening up Device Care every once in a while. ❤️ peace ✌️

Hello MegnDoz, welcome to the Samsung Community! I understand how frustrating it can be when your device is constantly freezing and restarting. When you performed your factory data reset did you back up your device or started fresh? I would suggest you perform a factory data reset without loading up your back-up data to your device to verify that it is not a third party app causing the issue. You can always load your latest back up to your device after testing the device to see if the issue is resolve. If your device is still freezing and restarting after the reset and not loading your back then I would recommend that you contact a certified service technician: Samsung walk-in service center or you can schedule a repair service online.

Adding my name/input to the list of frustrated users after the November update. I've tried the suggestions short of a factory reset. Anyone do the factory reset? Anyone successfully resolved their similar issues (freezing, restarting) with any of the other suggestions?

I've done a factory reset. The rebooting and crashing still happens after and it happened during trying to reset up and start the phone fresh.

I have an s22 just update it now my phone constantly from standby mode screen comes on and off on and off battery life is maybe 1 hour before it goes dead does anyone have any suggestions

On November 21st I received a secure patch for my galaxy s22 and for a week straight my phone has been restarting constantly by itself. I've tried deleting apps, wiping the cache partition, force stopping apps, every single thing that was recommended but nothing has solved the issue. I was told a factory reset may help but that is my absolute last option. Has anyone else experienced this or have a solution, or do I have to resort to doing the factory reset?

Check in device care that auto restart is not on. Otherwise, yes youll need to factory reset. Make a backup of your data first. The update likey corrupted during install which happens sometimes and not just on samsung phones. Ive had my server's cloud key module corrupt during an install and a factory reset usually resolves all of these issues. 🖖🏻

Ok thanks. Yea I already checked auto restart to make sure it was off. I guess I'll have to suck it up and just do the factory reset.

is it okay now? I think factory reset was the last resort or you need to take it to customer care?
