Galaxy S22So I have a samsung s22+ and it's on one ui 6.0, but I heard it should already have one ui 6.1. But when I go to my setting app and check for updates, it says there is nothing. Is anybody else having this problem, or is it just me?

Galaxy S22Updates are controlled by your carrier. Sometimes when phones are purchased locked to a different carrier then brought to the new carrier, they do not get updates. This is because your model number actually indicates what carrier it was initially locked to, and if your current carrier does not list that specific model, then it will not find an update for you. This would still hold true for the 7.0 update.
I have heard that if you install Smart Switch on a pc or mac, and use that while connected to your phone, then it should find your model on the Samsung servers, and install that. Note that you would need to continue doing that for each subsequent update.
You may also be able to get the update by borrowing a friend's sim that is attached to the carrier your phone was initially locked to, as they will have your model number in their database, and again, you would need to do THIS for each subsequent update going forward.
The final option, which sounds the best in the long run, has many hazards. This would be to find the update you need from your current carriers databases, and side load this. I do not know how to side load in the modern era, so I have no instructions for this. Keep in mind that this option can brick your device, if you download the wrong one, or if the process is interrupted. The main benefit is that your device would now report as a model that your carrier will find, and your software updates will become automatic again, but again, this is NOT recommended due to the number of things that EASILY can go wrong.
