S22 could not make or receive calls and text messages. It's the first time this happened, so I powered down the phone and re-booted and that rectified the problem. Also, scanned for virus and none found. Everything working perfectly after the re-boot.
This appears to be an isolated glitch with your carrierโs network. Upon restarting the device, the issue was resolved. I have experienced similar occurrences with Verizon from time to time in the past, which I have learned to expect from them.

Yeah I get all kinda of bugs on Verizon but lucky a restart resolves the issue 99% of the time
