How to Find a Hidden File

Can anyone tell me how to find a hidden file? I selected hide file and tried to find it immediately, with no luck.

Go to settings in MyFiles app,and enable show hidden files

I wish it had worked. I turned on the show files, and it didn't appear.

Did you hide a file or an app? If you hid an app you have to go to settings/home screen/hide apps on home and apps screen and deselect the hidden app. You can also open the app drawer and search for it.
