How can I get my S22 Ultra to enter pin without tapping OK?

My insurance provided me an S22 Ultra to replace my blown up S21 Ultra. I am now required to enter my pin then tap OK. In searching for a solution, I 've learned that I could enter a 6 number pin in lock screen settings and have an option to not tap OK after entering pin. Apparently, that option only comes available with a 6 number pin. However, I'm looking for an option for my 4 digital pin.

Sorry, but the only solution is to use a 6 digit (minimum) pin for no ok pressing.  There was a workaround, but it was patched out.

I will never understand why some people find it such a hardship to make an extra tap while unlocking their phone. Just consider it part of your pin.

The glitch was fixed with 6.1.1
If your phone doesn't have 6.1.1 yet (6EXH8), the 4 pin workaround might still work.

You can try the workaround glitch if you want, the worst it could do is not work.  To do this, go into where you would change your PIN, then type in what you want for your new 4 digit pin, and add 2 extra digits to this.  This will cause the option to enter the pin without OK.  This box will likely be checked.  Uncheck it, and then re-check it.  Now remove the extra 2 digits (the option to not press ok will disappear) and click next.  Retype in the four digits you want to be your pin, and accept the changes.  Now test this by locking (not restarting) your device, and try to unlock it.  If you don't need to press OK, you are golden, if it does nothing after the fourth digit, then it is patched out.  Note that if this DOES work for you, you will still need to press OK, after a restart or on a power up, but should not need to after the initial unlock.
