05.14.25 update. Accessing my contacts directly from the CONTACTS icon and the link within the phone setting are automatically going to trash. Why? I have restored them SEVERAL times but they keep going back. I am only able to access my list of contacts from the messenger icon. Help resolving is needed.

Galaxy S22Hello, welcome to the Community, and thanks for reaching out. I can certainly help with your contacts constantly going into the trash even after being restored. First, we would want to try a clear the device's cache. You can do so with the following steps:
- Power off your device.
- While the device is powered off, simultaneously press and hold the power and volume up buttons.
- Once the Samsung logo appears, release both buttons. Your device should boot into recovery mode.
Using the volume buttons to navigate and the power button to select:
- Navigate to "wipe cache partition" and press power.
- Select yes to confirm.
- Navigate down to "Repair apps" and press power.
If clearing the cache hasn't corrected the behavior, it may be a third-party application interfering with your device. You can check with Safe mode: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10003495/
If the contacts are no longer going into the trash in Safe mode, uninstall third-party applications until the culprit app is found and removed.
Lastly, you can try a factory reset. You can still back up everything, such as contacts (https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10002780/) before performing the factory reset: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10002030/
If the troubleshooting is not helpful, the phone will need to be evaluated by a certified technician.
