One last thing, sorry. unlocked carrier means I would be able to use any sim on the phone but not necessarily get updates, while unlocked firmware means I would be able to use any sim and also get any available update, right?

My s22 plus has one ui 7 it doesn't have a sim card in it but its carrier is Verizon that's weird
