I just got a refurbished s22 ultra from assurion, moral of the story I'm on UI one 6. II've been installing updates but it seems I'm having to do them one by one, for example, version 37, then 38, then 39... anyway just can just skip to the latest
Unfortunately you cannot bypass updates like that as each update had something important that the previous is just adding new things on to each update piggybacks off of the last update that you've received if that makes any sense so you can't just skip three updates and go to the last one as that last update requires everything from the previous updates in order to function.
Just like if you purchase Microsoft Windows for your computer for example say and you haven't had a Microsoft Windows for The Last 5 Years well you're going to have to install an order the Last 5 Years of updates from security patches to whatever else the same works with your phone.
Most people fail to realize that Android is a fork of the Linux operating system... as in the penguin yes that Linux so just like a computer requires things to be done in a particular order thus two does the miniaturized computer that you are holding in your hand
