Im not happy with this new update.. they took my sidebar pages away. The whole reason I got the S21 ultra was for the side bar tab. My pull down menu is annoying as now I have to scroll over to get my notifications. It used to be one page with everything on it. Im not impressed. What gives Samsung the right to change how my phone is set up through an update. It's like they went back 5 years. Not happy at all.

If you are talking about Edge Panels, go to settings , type in Edge Panels, and turn it back on.

To put your panels back together, pull down from the top right corner, press the pencil icon on the left top, and there will be a panel settings, tap on it, toggle on the together.

It is turned on, yet side panel is missing. That's whole point of complaint.

My edge panels work just fine after the update, some panels were eliminated. If you are using any/all of the eliminated panels, you will not see the edge panel handle.

First, clear your phone's cache partition, if that does not work, put in an error report.

You own the phone, Samsung owns the software. You agreed to the End User License Agreement when you purchased your phone.1748824559098.jpg

Edge panels still exist, as @Robin621k said, either search in your settings for edge panels and turn them on, or go directly to settings/display/edge panels and turn them on.  Then tap the text and see which ones can be enabled.  From my understanding, you cannot download any new ones, but the ones you had previously downloaded can be re-downloaded by going to the store, going to my apps.  Although, if you only had an update and did not switch phones, you should still just be able to re-enable any that were already on your phone.

Solved:

Settings-Display-Edge Panels.

Tap on the words "Edge Panel", left side, not just the switch. Adjust the handle display.

If the Switch is not on, turn it on, BUT to adjust the handle, Tap on the words "Edge Panels" left side. Not the switch. The handle settings are now available. That's where they are hidden.

Tap on "Handles". Make the Transparency High, Size Large, Width: Thin, Medium or Thick. I prefer to click on "Lock handle position".

Solved it by pure luck. The Edge Panel is on, but the Handle is missing! That makes it appear as if the Edge Panel is off, but it's not. The menu for adjusting the handle is HIDDEN!
