I think I need my Samsung phone checked for concerns of cyber attacks. I've been having issues with my home network recently where it would randomly get slow or my IP address would be blocked from accessing my own router Admin console (I change the passwords frequently). My ISP is looking into that right now.

However, on October 23rd, I installed a Wireguard VPN on my phones, tablet and PC, and I felt a little more secure for about a week. That didn't last long, once I sent a voice message to a friend (on my iPhone!!) about using a VPN, then things got more weird. First my internet was suddenly slowed down (DOS attack or Throttling, I believe) and once I disabled my VPN to directly connect my phone to the admin console to troubleshoot, things got worse.

At times, whenever I turned around, or set my phone down, it would force disconnect my VPN out of nowhere. I enabled the "Always on VPN" setting but every time I connected to the router, it would randomly disconnect. As if done remotely (This happened to my apple devices as well). My VPN would remain intact so long as I disconnected from the router and used my phone's data.

Besides my network issue, I'm concerned about a keylogger and/or monitoring service in my Samsung phone, which is my primary device. No matter how many passwords I change (and organized in my Samsung Notes app-locked), the unauthorized access to my router's Admin Console continued. This concern also stems from the My Phone app randomly connecting to my Windows PC and syncing with it (I haven't used that app in years and my Bluetooth was almost always off). I stopped it and completely uninstalled the app from my PC, but I'm concerned about what may have already made it's way in.

You should use Norton with life lock. Been using for years. Never felt safer.

I'd recommend turning on Auto Blocker on your samsung device and enabling maximum restrictions. Some apps like Avast Mobile security can help you determine if there is any unauthorized connections on your network but this isn't full proof. I regularly turn of unnecessary connections permissions such as auto-reconnect for wifi and nearby device BLE detection for bluetooth. Disable NFC and remove unnecessary access to data from your various apps. An authorized service center should be able to quell your worries about spyware and viruses by removing them.

Lastly, changing passwords can actually create a potential exploit for hackers. This being because the constantly changed passwords need to be remembered somehow, right? Best practice is usually to not reuse them and change them once every 6 months.

I looked into everything, I think this is more of a Spyware issues than a Malware issue. Any recommendations to track that?
