Can a conversation thread be recovered?

One of my conversation threads completely vanished. Tried cloud recovery to no avail.  Can this thread be recovered from somewhere?

It must be something with TMobile today. I not only lost 2 text threads today, I've just found out that family have been texting me today and I've gotten nothing. Dang.

Have you checked the Trash yet? Hopefully you can find it there.

In the messages app...tap on the 3 lil dots.

Once your in there, simply tap on the msg and then tap edit
