Hello Strunzi76, welcome to the Samsung Community! I understand your concerns on the four boxes showing on your screen. Do these boxes show up in safe mode? To enter safe mode: Power on your Galaxy phone or tablet in Safe mode. If the four boxes are not showing in Safe Mode then there is a third party app causing the issue, you would need to delete any recent apps that were downloaded around the time the issue started. Clear the cache partition on your device: Power off your device, hold the power and the volume up buttons together at the same time until the Samsung logo appears, then release the power button, select Clear Cache Partition and reboot the device as normal when done. If you are still experiencing the four box issues we would recommend that you perform a factory data reset, Please be sure to back up your device before performing the reset: Perform a factory reset on your Galaxy phone or tablet

Has anyone determined what root cause if the boxes? Same issue here.

I've been getting the same thing and I'm gonna try what Strunzi76 suggested see if that works

I'm having the same issue. The boxes appear on a mirror copy of my current open screen without opening a 2nd tab. The boxes disable my screen & only go away when the screen is closed. Then I see the actual screen I was on before the boxes appeared. Also, I experience browser hijacks when connected to power, where random websites I've never visited, open within seconds. I have to manually close the tabs & unplug from the power for it to go away.
