Would anyone know how to restore the Inbox in Messages

Would anyone know how to restore the Inbox in Messages or even able to confirm this critical feature is gone? All I have now since messages upgraded to version 16 with my one UI 7 update is, my categories & an "All" category. I can get up to 10 text messages in an hour with my business so the "All" category is completely worthless to me- being just a jumble of all the text messages I've received. 

This is a major inconvenience for me since I used the inbox as a holding site for new incoming messages that haven't been categorized yet... I understand I can still swipe down to access unread messages but heaven forbid I open one and don't categorize it I may never find it again... 

I sent a text to Samsung support but never heard back. The categories in Samsung messages was the one feature that kept me declining the constant requests from Google messages to "upgrade" to their text messaging app ... we'll that and the "select txt option"

Does anyone know if Google messages does categories yet?

Atleast you have the new messages update, I have the s25ultra and samsung didn't even bother to update the app for the s25 phones and I hate that and to me the new version look way better

@MsViro87 that would be great except about the time we got our phones switched in the mail they'll have updated Samsung messages to 16 and then I'll be in the same boat .. unless of course there was some way I could block the messages update perhaps someone here knows how I can "update" to the Legacy version of Samsung messages 15

I can't believe no one else is raising a stink about this the all category in the new Samsung messages 16 is a disaster... please bring back INBOX (unread messages) category

New update eliminated "inbox" for messages.  Critical feature is gone now. Please restore it!  Also please stop make changes to people's settings with updates. I hate wasting time going back through apps desperately trying to remember what settings i had and guessing what changed often to find your that setting is just gone. You job is to make our lives easier!

As far as I know from reddit this feature is gone. I haven't updated yet and can funnel the inbox to be only u categorized messages but not I'm afraid to update 🙃 maybe they'll add it back as it seems a lot of people are not fans of it. There should at least be the OPTION to do this.
