Why is there no Notification Cooldown feature in One UI 8?

One UI 8 is running on top of Android 16. Google has added a feature to Android 16 called Notification Cooldown. This feature makes it so frequent notifications from a single app will slowly reduce the notification volume and vibration intensity until there is a break in the notifications. This is particularly handy for group conversations that have a tendency to constantly ring your phone. Why is this feature not enabled for Samsung Devices on One UI 8 Android 16?

The settings you suggest do not exist on my device.

Yeah I think he was referring to a Google Pixel since that's the only device that has it that I know of and those steps look like the pictures of the Pixel menu that I was just looking at to get to the cooldown feature

Don't know where you found that list of options but its not on a S25 Ultra with UI8

Yeah, those are the steps to turn it on and off on a Google Pixel. Some of the Android 16 features are kept by Google, and they don't release everything to all manufacturers.

Yeah we don't even have a General section in notifications but Pixel does and it lists Cool down
