Feature Request: Pinned notifications

I'd like to be able to pin any notification to the top of the notifications list. For example, I'd like to pin my weather app notification so it's at the top of the long list of notifications every time I pull them down. Some people may want to pin a music app, a banking app, a home security app or family location app notifications to be pinned so they are always on top. It'd be nice to have the option. Seems like an easy fix.

Funny, my music app is always at the top of my notifications and quickly followed by my weather app.

Even if I hit clear, they remain. I have to swipe them to have them removed.

I honestly thought it was the same for everyone.

When I wake up in the morning I have over 20 notifications and my weather is just randomly in the middle somewhere. Right now I have 18. I just recently swiped a lot away but already have 18. My weather is the 5th from the top. I can refresh it or set it to alert again at a certain time period so it just seems like it'd be easy for samsung to make an update to where we can pin favorites to the top.

I use the Clime weather app. Maybe it is a feature of the app that keeps it close to the top.

You know, I think you can have Bixby tell you the weather with your morning alarm or by saying, 'Hey Bixby, good morning'.

Samsung prioritizes messaging apps and there is no way to change. It would be a good idea to put a widget on the home screen for the weather app.

I do have a widget on the home screen. I'd still like to be able to prioritize my app notifications rather than samsung tell me what's more important to me. Seems like a simple update fix to let users pin or reorder their own notifications to the way they want them.

You can't pin notifications, because once you dismiss a notification it goes away. Even if you could pin the notification for the weather, when a new notification comes in, it will not be in the pinned location.  Can't you just look out the window for the weather?  Or look at your widget?  The only weather notifications I need are hurricane and tornado warnings.  Why do I need ordinary weather notifications cluttering up my notification area?
