Galaxy S Phones@galaxyUser09 I think that they are pretty similar. The phone has to be connected to the network or a nearby device. A Smart Tag has to be seen by a nearby device.
The big difference might be if the device is on or not. You would think that the Smart Tag battery would still be working so it might be more reliable.
Also if the phone is stolen, I would think that the thief would remove any Smart Tag.
