Dear Samsung:

Are you aware that many Apple owners are buying boxy cases to make their iPhones look more like Galaxy devices? So why on earth are you doing everything in your power to make Galaxy phones look more like iPhones?

If I want a sleek, curvy phone, I can buy an iPhone - but I don't. I want a boxy Galaxy flagship that looks like the powerhouse that it is! In a world of fruit phone mediocrity, Samsung's Galaxy flagship phones stand out from the crowd. I'm proud to be a Galaxy owner every time I whip out the S Pen and write down a number with the screen off and all eyes are on my phone. It's common to hear "what phone is that?" and "my iPhone can't do that!"

I know it's too late to redesign the S26 series but please, Samsung, get back to the look that makes Samsung phones stand out as the superior devices they are with the S27 series!

If Samsung has decided on the design for their next flagship, then it's done.  They are not going to change it now.  I truly don't see whether rounded corners or pointed corners are any indication of quality, and IMO, curvy is just much more esthetically pleasing and hand happy.  I, personally, think square corners look cheap and unpolished - and lazy design standards.

S26 Ultra renders leaked yesterday. Personally, I'm struggling to see how it's any more curvy than the S25U.

😂😂🤣 im sorry. I'm not laughing at anyone i just think the conversation is intriguing. I liked the edge on the notes and ultras then realize they took it away for better writing for heavy s pen users. The looks are probably similiar because apple and samsung used titanium, but now apple went back to aluminum. 🤷🏾‍♂️

When will the higher executives at Samsung realize that copying Apple and theur designs will not give them more Apple customers. If anything, you are losing your Samsung customers and your uniqueness.
If I wanted an iPhone, I would have an iPhone. Samsung, stop while your ahead and just represent yourself. I'm sick of the Apple copycatting. They are behind, and they're trash.

Tech companies copy each other all the time. Apple and Samsung have made an art of it. What, specifically, do you have an issue with?

The design and talks of a forced "glassy effect" like IOS 26. It's a shame, really.
Samsung, specifically, needs to NOT do that. There's no real excuse. Their diffences is what will gain Apple customers, because Apple doesn't evolve.

Design of the phones or the UI? There's only so much anyone can do with a rectangular slab, hence foldables and (apparently) a new obsession with thinness. As far as the UI goes, a lot of the design language is driven by Google, since Android is their product. Granted, Samsung takes their direction and expands on it in ways other companies don't.

Explain how they're "expanding" when they're copying inferiority. Design AND UI. Stop it while you're ahead, Samsung. Their angular phone is unique. I like the S25 Ultra, but rounding it even more, getting rid of the PLUS for the Edge, is what Apple did with the Air, and now they're about to call the S26, the S26 Pro.
You're delusional if you can't see it. Or maybe you like both, so you're defending it.

My whole family uses Apple; I hate Apple, they're lame. I don't want an iPhone. If i wanted one, I wouldn't have a Samsung. I like Samsung's customizability and uniqueness.
If this continues, I'm moving to OnePlus. I don't want to move to anyone. Which is why I care.

I'm not defending anything, nor am I delusional about the industry. I've never owned anything Apple. I've had Android phones and tablets from various OEMs for 15 years. My primary phone is a OnePlus 13. But go ahead and keep making assumptions.

My comment about expanding on Google's design language means that Samsung doesn't simply copy what Google puts out. One UI is quite different from Pixel UI, in approach as well as appearance. It's very much a "kitchen sink" offering while Google's is minimalistic.

Samsung will do what Samsung will do, as will Google and Apple. OnePlus seems to be one of the only OEMs that invites input from their customers and actually listens to it. If you don't like what Samsung puts out, you are free to move on.
