Samsung Messages were blue now they are back to green. I can no longer see if someone is typing and the "advanced messaging" option is gone
I thought it would be smart to try Google messages. Didn't like it so I switched back. It kept saying registration failed so I got on support with Samsung, deactivated my number in Google. The support guy remotely reinstall Google messages. I told him I want to go back to Samsung messages that have been blue since last year! Now they're back to green plus the advance feature is gone. I have the chat options on but nothing. Can't see read receipts or typing.

Galaxy S PhonesYour Samsung Messages lost RCS, causing messages to turn green and removing features like typing indicators and read receipts. Check Settings > Chat Settings to ensure Chat Features are on. Clear cache/data for Samsung Messages and restart your phone. Disable Chat Features in Google Messages, wait, then switch back. Update Samsung Messages and Carrier Services in the Galaxy Store/Play Store. If RCS still doesnāt work, your carrier may have moved support to Google Messages only.
