S6 Edge Samsung Pay app not working

I cannot redeem my Samsung Rewards points or use the cash card that I have a balance on. I get  'cannot connect to server' error..1 month duration..the cs rep said 'buy a new phone'..really? Not too many people can afford new phones right now..it's somewhere on the bottom of my list for sure..is there any resolution or am I just SOL?
