Galaxy S PhonesHELP! This morning I awoke to find that all of my old text messages on my Samsung 9+ - with the exception of the few that were starred - have disappeared. I have cleared the cache and restarted the phone several times, but no luck. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Many, many thanks!!

Galaxy S PhonesThese phones suck. None of this happens on any of the families iPhone. Not to mention that when I send a video taken by the S23, it looks like fuzzy **bleep**.
No.... I surrender.

Galaxy S Phones@Charimanb You are using Samsung Messages I presume, have you checked your settings and made sure delete old messages has not been enable. Have you checked your trash bin to look for these messages.
Have you tried to switch to Google Messages and see if the missing messages repopulate in Google Messages.
If all of your friends and family have Iphones ask them to make sure they are running ios 18 and turn on RSC in iMessages settings. It will only work if you switch to Google Messages.
