I keep getting an annoying Moisture in USB Cable warning every time my Power Bank runs out of power. The cable is completely dry, and there is no humidity inside my car. Happens every single time. Galaxy S20+ 5G Unlocked version. One UI 5.1 February 2024 security patch.

Hello all, thanks for reaching out about this. I know how frustrating this is. I understand that you stated that there has been no contact with any type of liquid. However, I am including a couple of articles that would address this issue.

Check the liquid damage indicator on the phone: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001077/

Moisture in water-resistant Samsung phone's charging port: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001449/

I recommend trying a factory reset if the previous steps are not helpful. Perform a factory reset on your Galaxy phone: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/

If the troubleshooting is not helpful, the phone will need to be evaluated by a certified technician. For service in the U.S., you can take the phone to a local U.S. walk-in service location https://www.ubreakifix.com/samsung or to ship the phone in for service, please reach out to us via one of the following options: 1. Have you tried a different cable between the power bank and the phone? Was water/liquid spilled on the phone at any point?

There's nothing wrong with the cable. Works fine all day long until the power bank runs low. Obviously, there's some sort of software glitch.

So you've tried different cables? Do you have another power bank to test against? It could very well be a software glitch of some sort but no way to be sure unless you test with multiple variables.

I'm having the same issue. I had message for a few days. Then phone was charging with no issue. Now a week later, I'm having that issue again. Various cables used. Phone is dry. Cell company checked internal strip and no moisture detected. I cleared the USB cache. Still no luck.

I am getting same error. I was forced to buy a wireless charger.
Mysteriously, this all started happening right after last Android update.
I have gone through all the suggested fixes and will sometimes get a break, but keeps coming back.
