I am receiving many notifications in Korean. My settings all say English, no other language. Amy ideas as to how to rid the phone of this annoyance?

Where did you purchase your device?

Robin, I don't recall if it was TMobile or Amazon. It's not a new phone, so no warranty.

If you bought it on Amazon, it is probably not US model, you can flash the software on it yourself using ODIN, or you can go to a authorized service center and they will do it for you.

Instructions for flashing you can find many YouTube videos.

Hey Lynn, Welcome to the Community.

Have you tried resetting the settings?

Phone Settings>General Management>Reset>Reset all settings (Not a factory reset)

You will need to reconnect to wireless devices and re-apply any custom settings.

Let us know if there is any change.

I have now reset my settings but the Korean still appears. However, I think it's somehow related to Bixby, because the Bixby app appeared above it in reduced view.
