Could be. I've cone across a few while in the Web, click to goto a page and all of a sudden the phone is vibrating and an alert saying there's a virus, it's usually just to lead you to a cleaner. First time I was like **bleep**, no.. Realized it was fake when I scanned and was good. They try to be clever but fall short, but it gets a alot of people **bleep**g out.
