The only reasons you get hacked is because you are in websites with virus or someone has access to your device

Generally "getting hacked" has more to do with the security of your online accounts and your online activity. Particularly on iOS, where apps are sandboxed, it is highly unlikely that your device itself was "hacked" or infected with malware.
Android's open ecosystem can open you to more risk if you are not using your device safely.
Regardless of platform, you can take basic steps to keep yourself safe.
- Secure your accounts first. Log out from all devices and change passwords.
- Don't click suspicious links.
- Don't visit questionable websites.
- Keep auto blocker turned on.
- Don't install apps from questionable/unknown sources.
As long as you are using strong passwords, your accounts are not compromised, and you are not engaging in risky online behaviors, you should be fine.
