Try these steps really quick. Check if Settings>Notifications>Advanced settings>"Show app icon in notifications" is toggled on. If that doesn't work, install Samsung's Good Lock from the Galaxy Store and find the QuickStar module. Within QuickStar, toggle "Apply color palette to notification icons" on/off.

I was able to fix it. Under the notification, advanced setting, toggle on the show app icon in notifications
