How can I disable Spellchecker Drop-down?

When I am typing, sometimes a pop-up drop-down menu comes up when there is an undelined misspelled word. I can't find the option anywhere in the settings. The predictive text bar on the keyboard is perfect and all I need. The pop-up spellchecker pretty much only always has misspelled corrections? I just want it disabled...

Samsung keyboard settings --> smart typing --> auto spell check --> turn it off
