Hi there!

I have configured both fingerprint and face recognition of my S10.  Works fine.  But after a few hours of inactivity (idle phone), face recognition gets disabled for some reason, leaving only fingerprint sensing.  But after a few more hours of the phone being idle, fingerprint sensing also get disabled, and I then must enter my password to unlock the phone.

Android version = 12, Android security patch level = May 1, 2022

Has anyone ever experienced this issue?

Thanks for taking the time to read this post!

Thanks for your contribution Crushsoda!  Really appreciate it.

That said, I don't get why this would be normal behavior.  It's as if the fingerprint sensor was risky security which should only be used on a temporary basis.  Anyway, I get the sense that this must have been discussed at length on this forum so I won't pursue the topic.  Thanks for your time!!!
