Can I get Gooogle to stop activating do not disturb and driving mode while using maps and driving

Does anyone know how to turn that off?

@gwilly Try this:

1. Open the Google app
2. Click on the circle in upper right with your initial
3. Click on Settings
4. Click on Google Assistant
5. Scroll down until you find Transportation and click on it. 
6. Scroll down until you find Driving mode and click on it
7. Here you can enable/disable driving mode and allowing calls and messages.
