Most newer phones have the capability for wireless charging, but older and budget phones probably won't.

I'm going to have a battery replacement on Tuesday and my uncle said that it's cheaper than buying a new phone

Probably, but the other thing to think about is that the S10 Lite is long past getting any OS or security updates.

I think I am going to be asking the professional doing my battery replacement if my phone supports wireless charging without an adapter because I always have to have the charger in a certain way in order for the battery to charge

Your charging port may be loose and you may be told it needs replacing, too.

Wireless charging requires a copper coil inside the phone. It is not possible to install this kind of coil in a phone that was not designed for it.
