Should I take this deal or wait and use my reward points on the s26u? This doesn't include a trade in and reward points for me are at 2x.

If it were me, I'd jump on the deal. The 25U is a solid device and you can't go wrong whether you keep it or trade it in later. If you decide you like the 26U when it's announced, you'll already have a device with probably the best trade-in value.
