This is how far I have gotten trying to connect my Samsung Galaxy S9 and my desktop (PC):

S9 > Settings > Bluetooth > Paired devices:  DESKTOP-J…4 (Use for Calls & Audio)

Clicking on "DESKTOP-J…4": Couldn't connect

PC > Windows 10 > Settings> Devices > Bluetooth: On  ["Now discoverable as "DESKTOP-J…4"

Send or receive files via Bluetooth > Receive files (clicking)"

"Waiting for a connection" and nothing else happens.

What more do I have to do (if you know)? Thanks/Hans L

with Devices hopping in and out of Betas, other devices updating, and then the overall move to newer bluetooth interfaces, right now is just a tricky time to diagnose why 2 devices aren't playing well together. Once you figure out the "why" 48 hours later they may roll out a patch for it lol. I feel you on less wiring though but sometimes it's just easier to use a trusted method until it sorts itself out. It sounds like you are doing everything correctly from your side though

Well., to tell you the truth, it did work (more or less with Harald Bluetooth – Danish and Norwegian king), so what I am more concerned about is the complicated way to make transfer of files happen. Now, Windows' networking is a disaster in itself, so I am not expecting anything to be simplified in my liefetime. If I live long enough, I may try Linus' OS.

In any event, thanks for your help and patience.
