Galaxy RingI've been unable to meet my daily step count wearing this thing, so I tested it by walking on a treadmill with the phone in my pocket--and it counted steps--but when I places my phone down, it didn't count any.
And yes, I let my arm swing at my sides to allow the ring to detect movement. This is my normal workout which allowed me to meet my step count while wearing the watch. But it appears that the ring is not counting my steps. This is the case whether I start a workout on my phone (either "walking" or "treadmill") or auto-record the data.
I also confirmed that "select step data to record" is set to "all steps" not the phone alone, although I noticed that ring alone is not an option.

Galaxy RingI checked. It is up-to-date.
This mainly seems to be a problem in the treadmill, as it does record some steps as I walk around the house without the phone. But on the treadmill, it doesn't seem to detect them.

Galaxy RingMy ring doesn't seem to properly count steps either so I did a test.... I counted off 200 steps... my FitBit said it was 183, close. ๐ Samsung health and the ring said it was 92... less than half!!! What's going on? The Ring firmware is up to date, it's set to count steps, battery is fully charged, but it's no where near accurate.
