PHONE RINGS ONCE AND THEN SILENTLY KEEPS RINGING

My Samsung Note 20 rings one time out loud and then it keeps ringing but I can't hear it. I have noticed that it has done it while it is face down. I did set where the lights go off when it rings, but I don't think that has anything to do with it.  I lost my Galaxy s24 and had to go back to this phone, so I'm kind of forgetting how this works. Anyone out there, please help this 56-year-old that has no idea how to work her OLD  phone 😂
