Galaxy BudsYeah, but right now Samsung Find is not seeing my watch, even though every aspect of my phone, as well as the Google Find hub does. Google may not show the specific address, but it pins the location and I can find it on the map (if it's in my city, I know from what the map looks like where it is). I doubt either app would do me much good on a cruise ship - the most likely place where I would be to leave a device behind). When Samsung fixes the glitch that started with the One UI7 update that de-registered the watch from the find app (it's registered in my account, in the Wear app, and everywhere else the watch maintains a connection, even Smart Things - just not in find). If it does not get fixed with one UI8, then I might just follow Samsung's advice and unpair the watch from the Wear app and re-pair it. I'm not willing to do that at the moment.

Galaxy BudsWhat do we advise everyone to do when all else fails, a factory reset should fix it. It's not like resetting a phone. I reset my watches whenever a wipe cache partition doesn't fix things. More times than I care to admit. I still can't get it stop asking me to sign into my Samsung account, no matter how many resets I have performed, or the chronic turn on WiFi that I always have to ignore. That has been present since my watch 5.

Galaxy BudsYeah, I know I can reset or do as Samsung recommended when I put in the error report, but I'm recalcitrant, like some users here and don't feel it's my problem to fix. It was working fine before OneUI7 and now it's not. I'll see what happens with the update and then decide whether it's worth it to me to borrow trouble. I rarely lose *anything*. I never even ever lost a pen, as if I lent a pen to someone, I either would not give them the cap or I would follow them around until they were done (it was a running joke that I had a pen cup on my desk at work and I'd always have more pens in the morning than when I left for the night, because people couldn't remember whether they borrowed a pen from that cup, so they'd just "put it back"). The only place I am likely to lose a device, as I said, is on a cruise ship and then I'm never going to see it again anyway, and I suspect both apps would be useless, as Google Maps has not yet mapped the ocean (or any ship), and I already know I lost it on the ship. Neither app is going to tell me it's on Adventure of the Seas.
