I just wanted to comment on the Buds Controls that are no longer in the Wearable App & being moved to my phones settings. Not happy about the move..
They don't even show up there in the settings unless the case is open and connected to phone. I had no problem with it being in the Wearable App with all my other devices & everything in one place. What do you think?

Easier?
Let's see to get to my buds basic connectivity settings, I now have to long press Bluetooth.
Tap Details
Tap Settings Gear
And then I can't even access the bud specific features, advanced settings, sound quality and so on.

Have to use the widget for that.

Before the move I could access everything from the wearable app, connection, features, etc.

So, 👎 on the move. 1759112568222.jpg1759112568243.jpg1759112662067.jpg

Agreed! I'm really **bleep** about the change because now it's more difficult to get to the settings. Whereas before, I only had to open the wearables app. Plus, the ambient sound got f'd up too. I used to keep it on medium, and could hear people talking to me even with my music playing, but not anymore. Since they changed it, I have to have it on high just to hear outside my music.

I don't know why developers insist on 'fixing' what isn't broken...

You're complaining about having to use a widget?  You just said the widget makes it easier to get to your sound quality settings.  Using the widget also allows you to get the the other settings you seem to feel like you have to run the gantlet to get to.  Just long press the widget and tap the circled "i" and it will bring you to the setting you have pictured.

Should be put back in the wearable app too. Don't like to do 5 actions to get to what I want to. The move should have never happened. Make it accessible either way.

How is it 5 actions?

I have the widget on my screen, one tap and I get into the controls. I can also toggle between ANC and Ambient very easily.1759948232958.jpg

I don't want the controls on my screen. I want to open it to see if there are updates. I have to swipe down hit settings hit the buds so three instead of one. No reason for them to have moved it to the settings menu. It was fine where it was.

What do you mean by 5g controls?

They did this for the people who only have Buds and no other wearables. They no longer need the app now.

Send feedback in the members app if you feel that strongly about it.

Go to the home page of the Members app, go to support and look for send feedback.

Still didn't have to remove it from the app.

They read this.

Not sure why you're so bothered by it.

There is also (after connecting the buds) swiping down the quick panel, and click-hold any place in the volume slider bar. So it's possible to do it in 2 steps.

Also, the widget doesn't need to be the one with controls. There is a 2×1 that only shows the battery level of the buds, and you can still click it to bring up the controls and settings (all buds widgets can).
