Feature request: Buds 3 and 3 pro UWB in the case for the Find app

It would be nice if the buds 3 and 3 pro came with UWB in the case. Once lost my case and couldn't find or track it. Last known location isn't that helpful. Since the galaxy buds case doesn't come with speakers at very minimum add a UWB. It's not gonna lead to less sales of the smart tag.

Just checked it UWB was not available in the filp 5 so it might not be in the flip 6. This means you can't use tracking devices the the samsung smart tag which use uwb

Why would Samsung not put UWB in the buds case?

Can it be that expensive to do this? $249 is a lot of money to spend without a needed feature.

There is no way to find your buds if you lose them, you only get a last seen.

I thought the Buds 3 Pro had find my for the case, or at least while they're in the case. In fact I thought the 2 Pros was gonna have this feature itoo.

Their is no speaker on the case. Even if you could chirp the buds. While they where it's case. You would not hear it. You can find your buds if out of case. They will chirp and flash. In the case you are out of luck. Their is no Mm wave on buds. Just bluetooth.

Crrection!!! Yes, you can find the case of the Buds 2 Pro and the Buds 3 Pro if the Buds are in the case. That said, they still need to make it so that the case can be found on its own. And I still don't plan on buying another pair until they do.

I was unable to find my buds for a large portion of the day today. I did eventually find them, but the find app said that they were in a completely different location because when you close them in the case they disappear off the face of the earth until they are opened again.

This feels like a huge oversight from Samsung. Not even using nearby search when the phone is resting on the closed case got me any results. From the looks of it this has been an issue with earlier versions as well. I'm disappointed this hasn't been addressed as it feels like a pretty simple addition to make them "findable" when the case is closed.

I had the same problem, once the VPN needed to be turned off, the other time the case on my case was to thick and blocking signal. I found a better one on amazon and didn't have a problem after that.

I don't have a car and I'm not using a VPN. The find feature just doesn't work when the buds are in the class and the top is closed. I can't seem to find any setting to change that either

Samsung need to update the buds to find the case independently of buds. Both apple and google buds have that feature. I lost my case when wearing buds and I couldn't find it. And now the buds are useless. Until this feature is made available, Not buying another buds pro.
