Hello,

I’m sharing my long-term user experience with the Samsung Buds 3 Pro.

 

I purchased the earbuds in March 2025, around 9 months ago. My usage has been very light, realistically about 4 months total. The purchase price was approximately 500 SAR from Amazon.

 

From the beginning, the stock ear tips were quite uncomfortable, so after some research I replaced them with AZLA ear tips for 120 SAR, which greatly improved comfort. This brought the total cost to 620 SAR, and everything functioned normally until October.

 

After about 8 months of normal handling (no drops or harsh use), I noticed a small physical change on one of the earbuds. At the time, it didn’t affect performance, so I continued using it. Roughly a month later, I started noticing inconsistent voice quality during calls. In some cases, m&ic wouldn’t activate immediately, and over time the overall call quality degraded on both earbuds, according to people on the other end of calls.

 

I attempted professional cleaning at a local store (50 SAR), but it didn’t improve the situation. At this point, the total cost reached 670 SAR, so I decided to visit an authorized service center for inspection.

 

After evaluation, they confirmed that the mi&c behavior was irregular and identifiable during inspection. However, due to the previously mentioned physical change on one unit, the case was handled differently for each earbud. I was offered a paid option for one unit, while the other followed standard inspection procedures, with no option to separate them.

 

I contacted the assistance team and submitted a request, but it became clear that this experience is not isolated. Similar cases can easily be found online when searching for comparable user experiences.

 

Based on everything above, my takeaway is that for high-end products, long-term consistency is extremely important. For anyone considering this model, additional coverage options are strongly recommended. Personally, I would consider other alternatives in the future for better peace of mind.
